Two full days of hands-on landscape photography, structured editing and direct coaching across Southeast Queensland. Maximum four photographers.

Every workshop includes:

• Guided sunrise and sunset field sessions across landscapes, waterfalls and seascapes

• One conditions-led night photography session selected around the season, weather and strongest available opportunity, if clear conditions allow

• Two 3-hour face-to-face Lightroom and Photoshop editing sessions using your own images, held in comfortable air-conditioned venues

• Take-home access to the complete 11-video DKP Editing System, covering basic through advanced editing

• Pre-workshop planning, gear guidance and clear location instructions

• All required permits and $20 million public liability insurance

Seasonal night photography

From November to January, the Milky Way Core is not visible during practical dark-sky shooting hours in Australia. Workshops during these months therefore do not include a Milky Way Core session.

If skies are clear, we instead photograph seasonal night-sky subjects such as Orion, the Milky Way anticentre, lunar landscapes or star trails. You will still learn the complete night-photography process, including planning, manual focus in darkness, exposure settings, composition, foreground capture and editing.

If photographing the Milky Way Core is important to you, choose a workshop date specifically labelled Milky Way Core Edition. Please check the workshop-date options carefully before booking.

This is a tuition-only, self-drive workshop. Accommodation, transport, meals and personal expenses are not included.

Exact locations and session timings are selected around light, weather, tides, seasonal night-sky alignment, safety and the strongest photographic opportunities.
